Embedded Monitor
An embedded monitor is designed to sit inside an opening in a piece of equipment, with its front face forming part of the equipment's own front panel. This category page describes the embedded form factor in general terms. It is not a product page: the listed models are described by size and touch type, and the enquiry should state the opening and the fixing method.
Embedded versus open frame
Embedded and open frame monitors are related but not identical. An open frame panel is a component for building into a product, while an embedded monitor is presented as a unit for fitting into an existing opening. In practice the two forms overlap, and the right choice depends on how the finished product is built: whether the monitor is fixed from the front or the back, whether a bezel is part of the product design, and how service access is arranged. The open frame versus panel mount guide compares the forms in more detail, and the enquiry should describe the opening so the manufacturer can confirm the fit.
Mounting form decides how a monitor fits into a finished product, and it should be settled before size or touch type is finalised. An open frame monitor is supplied as a panel for building into a cabinet or a kiosk, so the buyer takes responsibility for the surrounding enclosure and for ventilation. An embedded monitor is designed to sit inside an existing opening, while a panel mount monitor is fixed through a cut-out with its front face visible. Each form changes the measurements that matter: overall size, visible area, fixing positions and depth behind the panel. The enquiry should therefore state the mounting form and the available opening, rather than giving only a screen size.
Sizing and fixing
Screen size is only the diagonal measurement of the display, and it does not by itself describe a monitor. Two monitors of the same size can differ in resolution, in aspect ratio, in brightness, in touch type and in overall dimensions, because the housing and the mounting form add their own measurements. A buyer comparing sizes should therefore read the full specification for each model, including the overall dimensions and the interface list, rather than ranking models by size alone. The product pages on this site keep each model's figures separate for exactly this reason.
The overall dimensions on each product page should be checked against the opening, including the depth behind the panel for cables and connectors. The 15.6 inch model lists a 75 by 75 millimetre mounting hole pattern, which is useful for a wall or arm mount, but the other listed models do not list a hole pattern, so their fixing method should be confirmed per model in the enquiry rather than assumed from the 15.6 inch model. A monitor that cannot be fixed securely is not a suitable choice, however good its screen may be.
Interfaces for embedded use
Interfaces decide what a monitor can connect to, and they differ between models. The models listed on this site use combinations of HDMI, VGA, USB, AV and BNC, and the exact list for each model is shown on its own page. A buyer should check the interface list against the existing equipment before ordering, because an adapter can solve a connector mismatch but cannot add a signal type that the monitor does not accept. The enquiry should list the source equipment and the cable types already in use, so any mismatch is found before an order is placed rather than after delivery.
Embedded monitors usually connect to a host computer or controller inside the same equipment, so short cable runs and matching interfaces matter more than long-distance signal quality. The listed models offer HDMI, VGA and USB, with AV and BNC on the two smallest models. A buyer should list the host outputs in the enquiry, so a mismatch is found before the equipment is built rather than during assembly.

Enquiry checklist
Before sending an enquiry, note the screen size, touch type, interface list, quantity and application, and whether the monitor will be open frame, embedded or panel mounted. Minimum order quantity and lead time are unavailable on this site and are confirmed per model in the enquiry. Quotations are confirmed per order.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get a quotation?
Send an enquiry with the size, touch type, interface list and quantity you need, plus the application. Quotations are confirmed per order, and specifications are confirmed per model before payment. This site does not list fixed selling figures.
What certification documents can you provide?
CCC, CE, FCC and RoHS are stated by the company. Certificates are available upon request. If a buyer needs a certificate for a specific model, ask for it in the enquiry and name the model, so the correct document can be checked.
Are the specifications on this page valid for every model?
No. Specifications are shown per model and must not be read across the whole range. Where a value is not listed for a model, the page says to confirm per model rather than filling in a generic figure.
